I tried two cortisone shots, three different physical therapists (including dry needling), several massage (body work) therapists, and yoga. The last physical therapy batch was probably the most helpful. However, still had pretty significant pain when stretching overhead. Overall, I dealt with the pain for over two years before deciding to have the surgery.
