@jmilam44 You'll be so happy! I had a biceps tenodesis several years ago. Best choice I ever made. Little painful in the recovery phase.

@Terrysan I’m still wearing it when out of the house, but weaning that down, and off and on at home. I’ve got clearance to try driving. Slept two night now without, and about a week before that with it in my own bed. Recovery is slow as hell for a SLAP tear and biceps tenodesis 🙃

jbschrades responded on Jan 10, 2020, 8 months after having this procedure. He was 42 years old at the time.

Did a total of about 25 physical therapy sessions over a 5 month period. The recovery took a little longer than I expected and there were a couple of weeks when I felt like I hadn't made any progress - frustrating. Ultimately though, the pain and stiffness have gradually improved over time. Doctor says this can take as long as a full year.
