@Mwam1993_ I tore my rotator cuff. I opted to do physical therapy instead of surgery. It worked, but I still have issues if I’m grabbing something kind of heavy above shoulder height, which isn’t that often.

@stphil @FaerieWhings Had rotator cuff surgery a year ago. After pt for weeks, it’s pretty normal now. It took a while to heal but it’s worth doing.

Honestly I can say boxing has ruined it for me. Enjoy boxing so much more now.
Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn tendon in the shoulder. The procedure can be done with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.
